208 days of war: 8 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza

Ammon News - At least eight Palestinian civilians were killed and several others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes after midnight last night in various locations across the Gaza Strip.

The targeted areas included the Nuseirat and Maghazi refugee camps, in the central area of the enclave, as well as the towns of Khan Younis and Rafah in southern Gaza.

According to health sources, three people were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to the Matar family in Nuseirat refugee camp. Another two individuals lost their lives in a similar attack on homes in the Maghazi refugee camp.

Meantime, local sources reported that an Israeli airstrike hit a house in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, resulting in three fatalities and several injuries.

Additionally, a tent sheltering displaced people in the Shawahin area of the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, was targeted by an Israeli airstrike, causing further casualties.

The Israeli occupation military also continued its bombardment and destruction of Rafah, in the farthest south of the enclave, demolishing several homes in the western part of the city.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in 39,699 documented Palestinian fatalities, mostly women and children, in addition to 91,722 injuries. Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
