Faulkner said he spoke with Jordan's ambassador to the UK, Manar Dabbas, who stressed the need for all parties to work together to avoid further escalation.

Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, discussed the situation with the British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, and the two ministers agreed on the urgent need for restraint from all parties and a renewed focus on a ceasefire in Gaza.
