Ammon News - An Israeli army drone Saturday morning targeted a Palestinian vehicle on the Zeita-Attil Road, northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarm, killing five Palestinians, according to a medical source.

Director of the Thabet Thabet Government Hospital in Tulkarm, Amin Khader, said that the bodies of five people arrived at the hospital, and they were burned and charred beyond recognition, except for one who was identified as Yaytham Nuriddin Bleidi, 25, from the Tulkarm refugee camp.

An Israeli occupation forces’ drone targeted the vehicle with two missiles, killing all of the five young men and setting the vehicle on fire.

Following the airstrike, the occupation forces stormed and cordoned the scene off, preventing residents from approaching. Nevertheless, medics and residents managed to pull and transfer the bodies to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Palestinian factions declared a one-day public strike and a day of mourning for the victims.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
