Ammon News - A Cabinet session held Wednesday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Khasawneh, decided to approve the draft bylaw for Practice of Social Work Profession for the year 2024, and referred it to the Bureau of Legislation and Opinion to proceed with the procedures for issuing it according to the rules in force.

The system aims to regulate the profession's practice-based affairs, which would ensure its "proper" conduct and set related conditions, classification criteria, certificates, and the penalties imposed on violators.

The Council of Ministers also decided to approve the mandating reasons for the draft administrative structure bylaw for the Department of Statistics (DoS) for the year 2024.

As for its goals, the regulation aims to develop the department’s work, increase its productivity, ensure easy and smooth procedures, keep up with developments, and align roles and tasks to avoid overlap among its administrative units.

On another level, the Council decided to grant the Strategic Commercial Development Company a license to broadcast radio programs on the FM wave for the Capital governorate’s coverage of its radio station, "Seyaha FM".
