Ammon News - The Ministry of Labor has confirmed ongoing efforts to finalize agreements with investors for the establishment of three new branches and production units in Central Badia, Zarqa, and Jerash governorates.
This initiative, following the allocation of lands, aims to create 450 job opportunities in these regions.
The ministry emphasized its commitment to executing royal directives aimed at expanding production units and branches throughout the Kingdom's districts and governorates to employ Jordanians. Currently, there are 30 production units and branches spanning various sectors across the country, employing 9,200 Jordanians.
The ministry reiterated its negotiations with new investors to establish additional production units and branches in several governorates to further bolster local employment.
The ministry highlighted its strategic intent to strengthen partnerships with the private sector by encouraging investments in these production units and branches. It outlined financial support measures for investors, including capital support of up to one million dinars for infrastructure development and project establishment.
Additionally, operational support is provided for 12 months, covering 50 percent of workers' wages based on the minimum wage, along with a transportation allowance of JD25 and a JD25 contribution towards workers' social security subscriptions.
