Ammon News - As the Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip entered its 246th day, 11 Palestinians were killed and scores of others were injured in the Strip since the dawn of Saturday, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that Palestinian Civil Defence (PCD) crews managed to recover five bodies, including children and women, from the rubble of the Mhanna house in the Gaza City neighbourhood of Sheikh Radwan.

The inhabited house of the Mhanna family was targeted in an Israeli airstrike, resulting in 14 casualties.

This came as Israeli artillery pounded the Gaza City neighborhoods of Sabra and Zaytoun as well as the vicinity of the new camp, north of Nuseirat in the central war-torn Strip.

Israeli bombardment also targeted a house in the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Strip, killing six Palestinians and injuring others, at a time when artillery and machine guns targeted the area, east of the camp.

Meanwhile, Israeli bombardment struck various areas in Rafah city, particularly the Hashash neighbourhood, north of the city.

Tried before the International Court of Justice for genocide against Palestinians, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 36,731 Palestinians and injuring over 83,530 others.

Moreover, approximately 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
