Ammon News - AMMONNEWS – Under its support to the Madrasati Initiative and as part of its efforts towards activating its socially responsible role within its community in general and specifically in the Dibbeen area, Jordan Dubai Properties (JD Properties) – the investment arm of Jordan Dubai Capital (JD Capital) in Jordan's real estate and tourism sectors – organized a Fun Day for the students of the Amenah Bint Wahab School in the area of Sakeb in Dibbeen through Munya, which is currently managing the Dibbeen Tourism Project.
JD Properties’ employees joined 329 students from the school in a number of fun activities as well as drawing and tree planting in the areas surrounding the school on the 21st of March 2010 on the anniversary of the Al-Karama Battle.
The Amenah Bint Wahab School is one of the five schools that JD Properties adopted through its support of the Madrasati Initiative, which include the Al Deseh Primary School in Dibbeen, Al Majdal School in Majdal, Borma Secondary School in Borma, and Al Jazaza Primary School in Jazaza.
Commenting on this step, Mr. Nidal Khawaja, General Manager of JD Properties’ Dibbeen Tourism Project, stated: “We strive through our socially responsible initiatives to positively interact and connect with different segments within the Jordanian society, especially children. We are confident that we will provide an added value to the people in Dibbeen through a number of mechanisms that push forward social and economic development in the area. During this Fun Day event, we hoped to add a sense of entertainment and enjoyment, enhance the level of participation amongst the students, and increase the students’ sense of belonging towards their country and their area through the tree planting activity. This step is part of our recognition of our responsibility towards society, one that we are proud of, that is aimed at supporting the overall development process.”
Mr. Khawaja added: “We are proud to be amongst the national institutions participating in the royal Madrasati Initiative and we are committed to its objectives, which is why we have forged a number of partnerships with local institutions that strive to help Jordanians and offer them opportunities for the future they aspire to.”
The Dibbeen Tourism Project is being implemented by Munya Specialized Resorts, a subsidiary of JD Properties, and is the first world-class, eco-friendly tourism project of its scope in the north of the Kingdom.
