Palestine requests extraordinary session of Arab League on Wednesday

Ammon News - The League of Arab States will hold on Wednesday an extraordinary session of the League Council at the level of permanent delegates, headed by Mauritania.

Hossam Zaki, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, said that the meeting comes to discuss the continuation of Israeli crimes against the Gaza Strip and the repercussions of the U.S. veto in the UN Security Council against the State of Palestine obtaining full membership in the UN.

At the request of Palestine, the meeting will discuss the continued crimes of the Israeli occupation against Gaza, the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, Zaki added.
