Ammon News - Jordanian-Kuwaiti economic relations constitute a “unique model,” as they are characterized by cooperation and partnership in various economic sectors, which contributes to enhancing economic growth between the two countries.
Jordanian-Kuwaiti economic relations include cooperation in various fields of trade and investment, in addition to tourism, education, culture and media, and the exchange of experiences and knowledge in many sectors, which enhances economic integration between the two countries.
The volume of trade exchange between Jordan and Kuwait in 2023 reached approximately JD176 million, compared to JD198 million in 2022, according to statistical data.
The Kingdom's trade balance with Kuwait in 2023 recorded a surplus of JD 82 million, as the value of the Kingdom's exports to Kuwait amounted to JD129 million, and its imports amounted to approximately JD47 million.
Chairman of Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), Khalil Haj Tawfiq, stressed the importance of historical relations between Jordan and Kuwait, praising Kuwait's support for Jordan and national issues in general.
Haj Tawfiq also pointed out that Kuwait is one of the most important countries investing in Jordan.
