Ammon News -

The Media Commission referred the Jordanian Public Service News Channel (Al-Mamlaka TV) to the Attorney General, after it published the news of declaring a state of emergency in all governorates of Jordan during Iran’s launching of marches and missiles towards the Israeli occupation on Saturday evening.

The Media Commission considered what Al-Mamlaka TV published to be in violation of the law, after the Minister of Government Communications Muhannad Mubaideen denied the authenticity of the news.

The director of the commission addressed his letter to the Attorney General referring the channel on Monday morning.

Mubaideen stressed the need for all media outlets to be accurate in what they publish, warning that all legal means will be resorted to whoever spreads any rumors or allegations that are not based on any facts and do not verify the accuracy of the information.

The allegations about declaring a state of emergency in the Kingdom were incorrect, Mubaideen confirmed.
