The operation resulted in the killing of two smugglers, the injury of others, and the seizure of large quantities of drugs, while the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities. The source stressed that the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army will use full force against any threat to the borders and prevent anyone tempted from tampering with Jordanian national security.

Ammon News - The Eastern Military Zone, in coordination with other security agencies, thwarted at dawn on Monday an infiltration and smuggling attempt from Syrian territory, an official military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army announced.
