Multiple civilian casualties in a series of Israeli airstrikes on Rafah, Khan Yunis

Ammon News - Several Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured late last night in a series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery bombardments on the cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, marking the 184th day of the ongoing aggression.

According to local reports, Israeli warplanes carried out intense airstrikes on civilian homes in the Al-Jenena neighborhood in Rafah, as well as in Khan Yunis in the south of the enclave.

The Israeli troops opened intensive gunfire towards the village of Al-Zanna and the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis, resulting in the killing and injury of several Palestinian citizens.

Additionally, at least two civilians were injured in an Israeli airstrike in the vicinity of a house near the Al-Istiqama Mosque, located in the Al-Jenena neighborhood east of Rafah.

Earlier in the night, Israeli warplanes carried out multiple airstrikes on various areas west of Khan Yunis, targeting a group of civilians near the Turkish slaughterhouse to the west, resulting in the killing and injury of dozens of civilians. The attack coincided with shelling on wide areas south and west of the city.

Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces also targeted several areas in the city of Beit Hanoun and the Qleibo area north of Gaza, along with artillery shelling on the Zaytoun neighborhood east of Gaza City and the southern neighborhoods of the city.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7th has resulted in the killing of 33,137 Palestinian citizens, mostly children and women, and the injury of more than 75,815 others, according to a preliminary toll.
