Ammon News - The total volume of spending on digital games in Jordan during 2023 amounted to about $82.5 million, according to a recent report issued by the Market Study Unit of the Association of Information and Communications Technology Companies.
Spending patterns were distributed among several categories, with about $17 million spent on downloading paid games, and $7.3 million spent on live broadcasting of games, according to the report.
In addition, spending on in-game advertising amounted to $6.6 million, and mobile games dominated the largest share with spending of $45 million, while spending on online games reached $5.6 million.
The Market Study Unit expected spending to rise to about $103 million in 2027, basing its forecasts on an annual basis for growth, market size, and competition among developers of digital games.
