Ammon News - The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warned on Tuesday of the danger of torrential rains and rising water especially in the north and center of the Kingdom om Wednesday.

A significant drop in temperature are expected on Wednesday, and the weather will be cold and cloudy, with showers of rain falling from time to time in most of the regions, which may be heavy at times, especially in the north and center of the Kingdom, accompanied by thunder and hailstones, which leads to the formation of torrents in the valleys and low regions.

Active westerly winds raise dust, especially in the desert regions, and at night the chance of rain gradually weakens, the weather becomes colder, and moderate southwesterly winds are sometimes active, the JMD added.
