The number of checks in circulation in Jordan reached 537 thousand checks during last January, compared to 577 thousand checks in December with a decrease of 6.9%. The value of checks traded during January amounted to JD3.35 billion, compared to JD4.44 billion in December, a decrease of 24.7%.
