Ammon News - The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) decided on Monday to end its working hours and the working hours of licensed banks in the Kingdom at 2:00 pm, for the purposes of welcoming and honoring the national football team and providing the opportunity for all official and popular events to celebrate this occasion.
The CBJ’s decision came after Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh issued an official circular ordering the end of working hours on Monday at 2:00 pm for all ministries, government departments, official and public institutions, official bodies and universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and companies wholly owned by the government includes private sector.
The decision excluded ministries, public departments, and institutions, whose work nature requires sustained activities.
The Ministry of Labor also said that the decision includes the private sector.
