Ammon News - Israeli media sources reported that the occupation army was subjected to a very large ambush, carried out by the Palestinian resistance in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of more than 11 soldiers.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority said that the occupation army "is suffering from a difficult situation in Khan Yunis after being exposed to a very large ambush" there, at a time when clashes continued between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army may issue an explanation regarding what happened in Khan Yunis hours later, the authority added.

Israeli media also said, "The event took place southeast of Khan Yunis in the form of an elaborate ambush, and it took hours to transport the dead and wounded."
