Ammon News - U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Saudi Arabia on Monday, his first stop in a wider tour of the Middle East aimed at establishing a truce in the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.
The top U.S. diplomat’s plane landed in Riyadh, according to an accompanying journalist from Agence France-Presse, on his first stop on his fifth trip to the Middle East since the operation “Al-Aqsa Flood”.
Blinken is also set to visit Egypt, Qatar and Israel this week and push to advance the Egyptian- and Qatari-mediated conversations with Hamas to achieve a hostage deal.
