Jordanian expatriates' remittances surge $3.5 billion during 2023

Ammon News - A preliminary data issued Tuesday by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) showed that the Jordanian expatriates' remittances increased by 2.1% during December 2023, compared to the same month in 2022, to reach $326.1 million (JD231.2 million).

During the year 2023, the remittances increased by 1.4%, to reach 3 billion and 501.7 million dollars (2 billion and 482.7 million dinars), compared to 3 billion and 452.5 million dollars (2 billion and 447.8 million dinars) during the year 2022.
