Ammon News - The Israeli occupation police claimed on Thursday that they had thwarted the largest arms smuggling operation ever from Jordan to the occupied territories.
The occupation police said that soldiers of the Southern Region Defense Unit seized 137 weapons, including 120 pistols and 17 M-16 rifles, and with them 250 cartridges, Hebrew media reported.
The police said that four suspects were arrested, according to the Israeli newspaper "The Times of Israel".
The guns are identical to those seized by one of the terrorists who carried out the attack this morning in Jerusalem , and are identical to the weapons seized inside Jenin, according to Ynet.
According to estimates, the total value of the weapons is estimated at six million shekels, Ynet said.
