This extension comes after Israel refused to receive a new list that includes the names of detainees and the bodies of Israelis killed during the war on Gaza, a few hours before the end of the truce, which ended at 7AM on Thursday and thus the temporary truce enters its 7th day. While the mediators intensified their efforts to extend the truce, hours before it ended at 7AM on Thursday morning, US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, arrived in Israel, to hold talks about increasing aid sent to the Gaza Strip and extending the truce.

Ammon News - Hamas announced Thursday morning the extension of the temporary truce in the Gaza Strip for 24 hours.

This extension comes after Israel refused to receive a new list that includes the names of detainees and the bodies of Israelis killed during the war on Gaza, a few hours before the end of the truce, which ended at 7AM on Thursday and thus the temporary truce enters its 7th day.

While the mediators intensified their efforts to extend the truce, hours before it ended at 7AM on Thursday morning, US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, arrived in Israel, to hold talks about increasing aid sent to the Gaza Strip and extending the truce.
