Ammon News - Head of Egypt's State Information Service, Diaa Rashwan, announced that 200 aid trucks passed from the Rafah Crossing Border into the Gaza Strip on Friday, with the temporary humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip taking effect.
26 trucks were admitted to field hospitals in the Gaza Strip, accompanied by their own crew, Rashwan said in a press statement at dawn on Saturday.
He explained that 15 trucks were admitted to the Jordanian field hospital, and 11 trucks were admitted to the Emirati field hospital.
“During the first day of the truce, 17 wounded people were received, accompanied by 15 people, and 12 of the injured Palestinians were transported with their companions to the UAE and Turkey,” Rashwan added, noting that “134 Palestinians who were stranded in Egypt returned to the Gaza Strip based on their wish.”
