Ammon News - Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) Secretary General, Hussein Shibli, confirmed that there are persistent and great efforts being made to secure the needs and requirements of the people of Gaza.

Shibli said in press statements on Sunday morning to Amen FM that the Royal Directives are very clear and explicit in providing everything possible to the people of Gaza and the West Bank, in every possible way, whether by sending cargo planes or field convoys or through airdrops to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza despite all the difficulties and challenges.

There is coordination with United Nations agencies, crossings, and some international associations and organizations operating in the Gaza Strip to provide some of life’s basic requirements, whether medicines, food, or water, Shibli added.

He pointed out that the JHCO's doors are open to provide donations and cash and in-kind aid through announced and specific channels and accounts to make it easier for donors to reach families in the Palestinian territories through appropriate methods.

Shibli also stressed that the position of the Jordanian leadership, people, and governmental and private institutions is very distinctive, as they have provided the most they can and are still doing, and this is our duty towards our people, which we are working to continue during this difficult period.
