Embassy of Pakistan in Jordan observes Kashmir Black Day

Ammon News - To commemorate Kashmir Black Day which is observed on 27 October every year, the Embassy hosted a Seminar on 26 October 2023. The event was attended by a number of people from different walks of life including key Jordanian notables, academia, media, think tanks and Pakistani community members.

At the commencement, deep sorrow was expressed at the tragic loss of Palestinian lives which were taken away by Israel in the ongoing war on Gaza. The participants prayed that those who were martyred may find peace in the hereafter, and may the injured recover soon.

The Speakers emphasized that Kashmir and Palestine were the two core issues of the Muslim Ummah and the resolution of both as per the UN Security Council Resolutions was indispensable for regional and global peace and stability. They urged the international community to take notice of crimes against the defenceless Kashmiris and highlighted Pakistan’s genuine and sincere efforts at reaching a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue.
