Ammon News - The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its anger at the speech of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, in the Security Council, saying that: "his words are serious, provoke anger and astonishment and constitute a stain on him and the organization he heads."
Guterres's words reflect a biased and distorted position towards Israel, the ministry added.
Tel Aviv demanded Guterres to retract his words and apologize after he allegedly harmed millions of Israelis.
Guterres called on Tuesday for a "humanitarian ceasefire" in the Gaza Strip, and said that Palestinian resistance attacks do not justify Israel's mass killing in Gaza.
