Mild autumn weather in most regions until Wednesday

Ammon News - Jordan's weather remains pleasantly mild on Sunday, with temperatures exceeding the usual averages by approximately 3-4 degrees Celsius. The majority of areas experience moderate conditions, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba witness relatively warmer weather.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), medium to high-level clouds can be seen scattered across the sky, adding a picturesque touch to the cityscape. The gentle southeast breeze prevails, occasionally picking up speed and carrying traces of dust particles, particularly in the vast and arid Badia regions.

Looking ahead to the next double of days, the weather pattern remains consistent, maintaining moderate temperatures in most parts of the country. The Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will continue to see relatively warm conditions.

Clouds at various altitudes grace the sky, casting intermittent shadows on the city below. A moderate north-eastern to north-western winds will blow, occasionally raising dust in the air, especially in the Badia areas.

On Tuesday, there is a slight possibility of scattered light rain showers in limited parts of the eastern regions.

Today’s peak temperatures will be between 26 and 30 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 15 or even 14C in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have sweltering weather, with highs of 35C and lows of 23C.
