US President Joe Biden arrived in Tel Aviv on Wednesday, after the Amman Quartet summit was cancelled, against the backdrop of the hospital massacre in the Gaza Strip.
Occupation President Isaac Herzog, and Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, were at the front of President Biden's reception.
Media reported that Biden will ask “difficult questions” to the occupation government and work to bring humanitarian aid into Gaza.
The US President said in a statement that he was "angry" and "very sad" after what he described what happened in Gaza as an "explosion."
Hebrew media reported that when the US President arrived in Tel Aviv on Wednesday, he broke the official handshake protocol.
Biden extended a warm embrace to both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog, the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz said.
"Welcome Mr. President, may God bless you for protecting the Israeli nation," Isaac Herzog said to Biden.
