She was born in Al-Aqiba in Keserwan District in 1961 and studied media at the Lebanese University. She began her career in late 1985 on LBC as a preparer and presenter of cultural talk shows. Khoury joined the Arab media group “MBC” in 2002 and contributed to launching the 24-hour Al Arabiya news channel. She hosted a weekly political talk show on Al Arabiya from 2003 to 2013. In 2013, Khoury was appointed by BBC Arabic to present the program “The Scene”.

Lebanese media stalwart Giselle Khoury passes away aged 62

Ammon News - Journalist Giselle Khoury died this Sunday morning after a struggle with illness.

She was born in Al-Aqiba in Keserwan District in 1961 and studied media at the Lebanese University.

She began her career in late 1985 on LBC as a preparer and presenter of cultural talk shows.

Khoury joined the Arab media group “MBC” in 2002 and contributed to launching the 24-hour Al Arabiya news channel. She hosted a weekly political talk show on Al Arabiya from 2003 to 2013.

In 2013, Khoury was appointed by BBC Arabic to present the program “The Scene”.
