Lebanese media stalwart Giselle Khoury passes away aged 62
Journalist Giselle Khoury died this Sunday morning after a struggle with illness.
She was born in Al-Aqiba in Keserwan District in 1961 and studied media at the Lebanese University.
She began her career in late 1985 on LBC as a preparer and presenter of cultural talk shows.
Khoury joined the Arab media group “MBC” in 2002 and contributed to launching the 24-hour Al Arabiya news channel. She hosted a weekly political talk show on Al Arabiya from 2003 to 2013.
In 2013, Khoury was appointed by BBC Arabic to present the program “The Scene”.
