Former GID's director Mohammed Dahabi released

Former Director of the General Intelligence Department(GID) Mohammed Dahabi was released on Sunday morning after serving his sentence that began in 2012.

Amman Criminal Court ruled in 2012 that General Dhahabi should be imprisoned for 13 years and 3 months, in addition to imprisoning him for one year, including the period of detention, and fining him more than JD21 million, and confiscating more than JD24 million of his property after being convicted of embezzlement, money laundering and exploitation of public office.
