Ammon News - Jordanian expatriates have transferred $281.1 million (JD199.3 million) with an increase of 4.0% in remittances during August 2023, compared to the same month in 2022, according to preliminary data from the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ).
During the first eight months of 2023, it amounted to 2 billion and 264.5 million dollars (JD1,605.5 million), compared to 2 billion and 250.5 million dollars (JD1,595.6 million) during the corresponding period of 2022, an increase of 0.6%.
