The Ukrainian Embassy hosted, with exclusive privilege, the Ukrainian Virtual Reality (VR) team “The Game Changers” this week, and Jordan was the first partner in the Middle East and North Africa region chosen by the team to visit and share their distinguished experience through the “Living the War” project, which was previously presented to the heads of Ukraine’s partner countries.

The “Living the War” project comes to simulate the reality of the Ukrainian war and the difficult circumstances that the Ukrainian people are going through as a result of the war with Russia, which began more than a year ago. It was presented to the Jordanian public in cooperation with the US Embassy team, which had an effective role in the success of this experience.

The scenes presented within this project are based on the five senses of humans, which the Ukrainian citizen no longer senses as it is naturally, who breathes and smells the smell of war and the blood of Ukrainian soldiers and citizens, listens to the sounds of loud explosions and the voices of crying and injured children, and sees the extent of the destruction and rubble of buildings that spread throughout the city.

The Ambassador of Ukraine in Amman, Shcherbatiuk Myroslava, and the US Ambassador in Amman, experienced virtual reality 360, scenes of war crimes committed in Ukraine, in addition to a number of journalists and students from various Jordanian universities to feel and see the events directly.
