Ammon News - Hebrew media confirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Israeli occupation is currently working to reach agreements with countries that still require visas from Israelis as a precondition before entering their territories, including Arab countries such as Jordan, Egypt, Bahrain and Morocco.
This comes in the wake of Israel's acceptance of the American visa exemption program, according to Ynet.
Ynet reported that Jordan is one of the countries that still requires visas from Israeli settlers to enter its lands, as well as Egypt, Bahrain, Morocco, China, India, Australia, Nepal, Vietnam and Azerbaijan.
Israelis are exempt from visa requirements for most countries in the world. However, despite the United States’ announcement of Israel’s acceptance into the visa exemption program, several other countries still require Israelis to obtain a visa before entering their territories, it added.
Commenting on the acceptance of the Israeli occupation into the American Visa Waiver Program, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "We’re marking an important and joyous moment for every Israeli citizen. Israel has been accepted into the U.S. Visa Waiver Program after many years," he said.
"This will save Israelis a lot of time, effort, and money. Those who want to visit the United States will no longer have to wait for months just to get an appointment for a visa," Netanyahu added.
This came after US Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas and Secretary of State Antony Blinken officially released a joint announcement saying that Israel had met all required conditions, and it was decided to officially include it in the Visa Waiver Program.
