Ammon News - The Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Detainees Affairs said Monday that Israel is holding in its prisons 18 Jordanians imprisoned for their role in the resistance against the Israeli occupation, according to the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA).
Among the Jordanian prisoners, there are nine serving one or more life sentences, five serving sentences ranging from 20-36 years, three serving sentences ranging between 15-19 years, and one prisoner serving a sentence of five years, the commission said in a report.
It explained also that seven of the Jordanian prisoners have been incarcerated for more than 20 years, and five others have been in prison for more than 15 years.
