Fuel prices expected to rise in October

Ammon News - Energy expert Hashem Aqel said that fuel prices are likely to rise in varying proportions in next month's pricing.
In an interview with Ammon, Aqel expected that the price of octane 90 gasoline would rise by 1.5%, equivalent to 15 fils per liter, and that the price of octane 95 gasoline would rise by 1%, equivalent to 15 fils per liter.
The highest increase will be on diesel, at a rate of 3%, which is equivalent to 25 fils per liter, he added.
"The strong factors affecting oil prices are putting strong pressure on prices as a result of the voluntary Saudi and Russian reduction and the improvement in Chinese demand," he said, noting that this led to an increase in demand for fear of a further decline in supplies. Therefore, the prices of oil derivatives rose from the beginning of September until today.
Aqel also expected that these percentages and numbers will remain the same until the end of September.
