Ammon News - Hotels occupancy rates in Aqaba during the weekend reached 80%, 81% in Dead Sea and 50% in Petra, according to vice president and spokesperson for Jordan Hotels Association (JHA), Hussein Hilalat.
Hilalat told Ammon that occupancy rates in hotels in Amman, reached about 66%, an increase of 8% over last week.
The increase in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) increased significantly compared to last week by 20%, he added.
Occupancy rates in Jordan's 5-star hotels reached 72%, 70% in 4-star hotels and 61% in 3-star hotels, Hilalat said.
