The plane carries on board the Jordanian International Search and Rescue Team, in addition to logistical relief and medical aid, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs. The Ministry's official spokesperson, Ambassador Sinan Majali, explained that the search and rescue team includes 88 members, among them 5 doctors from the Royal Medical Services. The Jordanian International Search and Rescue Team is affiliated with the Public Security Directorate and is one of the world's top professional rescue teams, with a high international classification.
