Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Orange Jordan signed a strategic exclusivity agreement with MBC Group for the first time in Jordan, through which the latter will provide exclusive broadcasting of some content aired on its channels to Orange mobile subscribers.
The agreement was signed at Orange Jordan’s headquarters February 15 by Nayla Khawam, the CEO of Orange Jordan, and Ammar Bakkar, MBC Group Director of New Media.
Highlighting that the agreement was not the first collaboration between Orange Jordan and MBC Group, Khawam emphasised that this year’s alliance confirms the strong relationship that the two ends share.
“We, at Orange Jordan, signed this agreement with MBC, the leading media group, stemming from our continuous keenness to provide our customers with the best digital television content with the highest quality as MBC Group is renowned for its impeccable success in the area of television broadcasting in the Arabic arena,” she added.
For his part, Bakkar commented by saying: “MBC Group has achieved distinguished accomplishments in the field of collaborating with Arab telecommunication companies when it comes to providing its highly popular programmes on mobile phones before them being broadcasted on television screens.”
This agreement includes providing a bouquet of 12 television series in addition to a bundle of programmes tailored for the Holy Month of Ramadan covering between 7 to 12 series, including “Bab Al Hara 5”, “Tash Ma Tash 17”, “Bayni ou Baynak 4”.
