According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), low-altitude clouds will be observed in the northern regions, while moderate winds, primarily coming from the northwest, will prevail, occasionally picking up in eastern parts of the country.

Looking ahead to Thursday, mercury levels are expected to uptick a few degrees, with the weather becoming typical for summer in the mountainous areas until Friday. However, the rest of the regions will enjoy relatively hot to hot conditions. The wind will be moderate, blowing from the northwest.

Today’s peak temperatures will be between 28 and 33 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 20 or even 18C in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have sweltering weather, with highs of 41C and lows of 28C.
