The main goal of a smart city is to optimize city functions and promote economic growth while also improving the quality of life for citizens by using smart technologies and data analysis.
To start being a smart city we have to transfer all thing to digitally also , using internet of things (IOT) devices such as connected sensors, lights, and meters to collect and analyze data. The cities then use this data to improve infrastructure, public utilities and services, and more .. as a result , the possibility of corruption decreases due to the human dimension in completing government transactions.
Other advantages of smart and sustainable cites are Solve traffic problems , car Accidents , Population pressure while preserving the city's green spaces and landscapes In addition to the proximity of services to each other, which encourages walking and reduces the use of means of transportation, which preserves nature and reduces environmental pollution The three smartest cities in the world are: Singapore ( 1st level ), Zurich (nd level ) and Oslo ( th level ).
It is worth noting that Amman is currently striving to be a smart city in solving its traffic problems, by operating express buses, special pedestrian parking lots, controlling smart street lighting, and others.
