Ammon News - Jordan has imported 344,804 thousand barrels of Iraqi oil last July, according to data issued by the Iraq's state oil marketing company (SOMO).
Jordan's import rate of Iraqi oil in July amounted to 11,000 barrels of oil per day, as the data showed that the initial weighted average selling price allocated to Jordan stood at $64.05 per barrel.
The discharged quantities of Iraqi crude oil from the modern Kirkuk depot / Iraq in the tanks of the Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company in Zarqa amounted to 556,062 thousand barrels, during the past May and June, according to a previous statement by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
This comes after the resumption of importing Iraqi oil to Jordan under an agreement between the two countries last May, according to which Jordan imports 10,000 barrels based on the monthly Brent crude rate minus $16 per barrel to cover the quality difference and transportation fees.
