Affirming National Water Carrier Project's "high" priority, PM added that the government is working to expedite its implementation procedures in light of the Kingdom's "immense" water deficit and presence of "large" numbers of refugees on its territories.

Moreover, Khasawneh noted draft law of public-private partnership projects , which is expected to be completed soon, would contribute to accelerating procedures for implementing partnership projects, within framework of the required transparency and governance.

For his part, Dayoub commended joint Jordan-IFC cooperation and partnership relations, stressing the corporation's continuity to support the Kingdom to achieve its development priorities for the next stage.

Dayoub noted IFC is working to make Jordan a regional hub to support its funded operations and projects in the region.
