Deputy Emir of Makkah takes part in washing of Holy Kaaba

Ammon News - On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz had the honor today to wash the holy Kaaba, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Prince was received at the Grand Mosque by the General President of General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais and other officials.

The prince started the ceremony by washing the interior of the Kaaba with holy Zamzam water mixed with rose water, prepared earlier by the General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques.

On the occasion, Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais commended the role of the Saudi leadership, which has always provided great support and care in serving Islam and Muslims, particularly the two holy mosques.
