Ammon News - Hashim Akl, an oil expert, suggested that fuel prices will rise next month by varying rates between 1.8% and 6%, due to the rise in Brent crude prices to $85 in the last part of the month.
In a statement to Ammon, Akel said that these increases were reflected in the prices of oil derivatives, expecting an increase in the price of a liter of 90-octane gasoline by 2.5%, which is equivalent to JD0.230, and an increase in the price of a liter of 95-octane gasoline by 1.8%, which is equivalent to JD0.250, while the price of a liter of diesel will rise by 6%, i.e. Equivalent to JD0.400.
He added that the reason for these rises is the increase in Chinese demand and the voluntary Saudi-Russian production cut of 1.5 million barrels per day.
