Ammon News - The technical, economic, and environmental feasibility studies for an interconnection project between Jordan, the Arab Gulf states, and Egypt have been completed, according to data issued by the e-government.
The data, which was seen by Ammon, showed that feasibility studies have been completed through an international consultant, and coordination is taking place on a road map for the project that includes the timetable for its completion stages.
On the electrical connection with Saudi Arabia, the data stated that technical and economic studies related to the project have been completed and a memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries to prepare project agreements.
The project is expected to be completed and commercially operated by the end of 2025.
