Ammon News - The remittances of Jordanians working abroad stood at 296.8 million dollars (210.4 million dinars) during the month of May, preliminary data of the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) showed on Monday.
The data showed that the remittances saw an improvement in their performance during May 2023, compared to the same month of 2022, by 2.3%.
While the remittances of workers abroad during the first 5 months of 2023 amounted to one billion and 399 million and 700 thousand dollars (992.4 million dinars), compared to one billion and 421 million and 700 thousand dollars (1,008.0 million dinars) during the corresponding period of 2022.
