"Border Guard forces, in coordination with military security agencies, detected an attempt to illegally cross the border from Syria to Jordan by a drone, and it was shot down inside Jordanian territory," an official military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) - the Arab Army said. After the drone was shot down, officers found out that it was carrying multiple weapons, and they were transferred to competent authorities, the source added. The source stressed that JAF continue to deal with all force and firmness, with any threat on the border fronts, and any attempt intended to undermine and destabilize the security of the homeland and intimidate its citizens.

Ammon News - Eastern military region boarder guard officers on Friday morning shot down a drone loaded with weapons coming from Syrian territory.

"Border Guard forces, in coordination with military security agencies, detected an attempt to illegally cross the border from Syria to Jordan by a drone, and it was shot down inside Jordanian territory," an official military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) - the Arab Army said.
