Statement from the Royal Hashemite Court

Ammon News - The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that—in the presence of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah—His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein married Miss Rajwa Khalid Alseif on Thursday, 1 June 2023.

A Royal Decree was issued, bestowing the title of Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein on Miss Rajwa, on the occasion of her marriage to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.

On this occasion, the Royal Hashemite Court extends its heartfelt congratulations to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, as well as the Royal Hashemite Family, and wishes Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein a lifetime of happiness.

Their Royal Highnesses Prince El Hassan bin Talal, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, Prince Hashim bin Al Hussein, Prince Talal bin Muhammad, Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, and Prince Rashid bin El Hassan attended the wedding, held at Zahran Palace.

Their Royal Highnesses Princess Muna Al Hussein, Princess Basma bint Talal, Princess Iman bint Abdullah II, Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, Princess Alia bint Al Hussein, Princess Aisha bint Al Hussein, Princess Zein bint Al Hussein, Princess Raiyah bint Al Hussein, Princess Sarvath El Hassan, Princess Rahma bint El Hassan, Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Princess Zeina Al Feisal, Princess Rym Ali, Princess Ghida Talal, Princess Miriam Ghazi, Princess Zeina Rashid, Princess Taghrid Muhammad, and Her Highness Princess Firyal were also in attendance.

A number of Royal Family members, Princess Rajwa’s parents, and invited international and Arab guests and royals also attended the ceremony.
