Ammon News - A testament to its illustrious vision, the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) has, within just 8 years of its inception, left an indelible mark on over two and a half million young Jordanians, extending its reach across the Kingdom with a cornucopia of educational, training, and economic opportunities.

The Foundation was conceived with the grand vision of executing the ambitions of His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein, heralding a Jordan brimming with a capable and aspiring youth populace.

Tammam Mango, the Crown Prince Foundation's Executive Director, in an enlightening dialogue with the Jordan News Agency (Petra), iterated that the Foundation's birth in 2015 was a testament to Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II's unwavering commitment to carving out a bright and promising horizon for the young generations of Jordan, empowering them to take up the mantle of leadership and engage in civic services.

Mango emphasized that the Foundation's endeavors resonate with His Highness's deep-rooted belief in the boundless potential of the Jordanian youth, capable of scaling the loftiest peaks, given the right opportunities to contribute to the country's growth narrative.

The Foundation's modus operandi, as Mango explained, rests on three pillars: Employability and Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Citizenship. Its reach expands across the Kingdom's governorates, fostering numerous initiatives across various sectors.

Since December 2022, the Foundation has embarked on a mission to establish regional offices, hosting more than 177 activities and events, enriching the lives of over 15,000 young individuals through capacity building and civic participation.

These offices work in tandem with public and private sector institutions and civil society organizations to orchestrate various programs and outreach initiatives, even extending their hand to the most remote corners of the Kingdom.

The aim is ambitious yet attainable: to impact 100,000 lives by the year's end via a myriad of initiatives, ranging from the transformation of youth spaces, in-school programs, to enhancing youth interactions with decision-makers.

Nujoud Sarhan, the Deputy Executive Director and Director of the Initiatives Department at the Foundation, delved into the multifaceted initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation.

She highlighted the establishment of Al-Hussein Technical University under the aegis of work readiness and leadership, aiming to rejuvenate technical education and empower the labor market with skilled and competent youth.

Serhan commended the university's unique approach of marrying theoretical knowledge with practical applications in its state-of-the-art engineering workshops and scientific labs, designed in collaboration with industry and business sectors.

Among other laudable initiatives is TechWorks, a digital manufacturing lab equipped with cutting-edge tools and machinery aimed at nurturing innovation and the inventive spirit of the young Jordanian populace.

Serhan also drew attention to the Naua platform, a national initiative to bolster collective social impact, and the Nahno platform, a volunteering network created in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund and the Ministry of Youth.

Under the leadership umbrella, Serhan highlighted the Haqiq initiative, aimed at instilling values of citizenship, leadership, and community service, and the Youth Excellence Fund initiative, aimed at fostering excellence in performance and knowledge across multiple sectors.

Through its diverse initiatives and relentless pursuit of youth empowerment, the Crown Prince Foundation continues its mission to shape the future of Jordan, one young mind at a time.
