Saudi Arabia takes over Jeddah summit presidency, welcomes Syria’s return

Ammon News - Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud takes over Jeddah summit presidency from his Algerian counterpart Ahmad Atef, in a meeting that preceded the summit.

Al Saud stated in his opening speech, that the world is going through many difficulties, and they must be resolved by finding proper solutions to protect the Arab region and its human and natural resources.

The Saudi minister welcomed the Syrian delegation presence after the Arab decision to restore Syria to the Arab League, and the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to the summit.
